Meet your Guide
Dr. Douglas M. Maughan
Brother Maughan has directed travel study for Destination Travel for the past 14 yearrs, and prior to that Brigham Young University.
He has taught in the Church Educational System for over 25 years and is currently an instructor at Logan Institute. He is a popular lecturer including at the Martin Harris Pageants. He has written and edited LDS curriculum.
Brother Maughan recieved his Ed.D. from Arizona State University and Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University. He has also done graduate work at BYU.
He and his beautiful wife Jennifer are parents of 10 wonderful children and reside in Cache Valley.
His hobbies include research of the period of apostasy and restoration, and running. Doug has completed five marathons and two triatholons, and hopes to do many more!
